The questions we would like answered are:

What are the reasons they left Bosnia/Europe?
Why they chose to come to New Zealand over other countries?
How different is Europe/Bosnia to their new countries/cities and have refugees struggled to adapt?
How have their past experiences affected their lives and personalities?

Key Ideas:
Many Bosnian refugees fled the country as a result of the Serbian government and armies advance on Sarajevo. Many refugees fled to other countries and some that moved to New Zealand probably moved there as they are similar in size and landscape. Also the European settlers arrivng to sell wine in the 1850s. The refugees would have found it difficult to adapt to a new culture and language but Bosnia and New Zealand are a lot more similar than people think. A number of refugees have struggled to shrug off their past and are still tormented by the images of their homes being burned to the ground. Studies have shown that the refugees have not been given sufficient care to help with their mental instabilities.

For our final product we are making a Power Point presentation. It is added below
